The Critter Compendium delivers over 250 pages of monsters both from older editions and completely new to the game for a DM to unleash upon their players. But players too can find new options in this book, such as new creatures to summon, undead to create, beasts to use as familiars, beast companions or to wildshape into, and even some ideas for class options such as Draconic Bloodlines and Warlock pacts based on the monsters presented here.
We review the Unearthed Arcana - Feats for Skills article. In summary the vast majority of abilities tied to these feats are likely already how you've been ruling the use of the skills for the last few years. The feats themselves are not worth your feat slot in nearly every circumstance. Another week, another Unearthed Arcana. This week we are given a number of 0-level and 1st level spells to add to our spellbooks. On the whole, they are well designed and some prove essential tools to some specialties lacking them. Others could use a boost to power or utility to be worth committing to. Overall, I'd recommend this list and would encourage you to add them into your Dungeons & Dragons campaign today!
